Don't be scared to get out and chase your dreams because you're scared of rejection, that's the part of the whole process! When i was about to go audition for singing the national anthem at a game i was excited to audition and i was excited for what was about what the outcome was going to be. When they called the person's name for who won i was so ecstatic! It wasn't my my name but my daddy always told me don't be afraid of rejection and yes it the first time that i got rejected but i  was excited because i knew that whatever was going to come my way in the future was going to be positive. Who wouldn't be excited about that? Get out there and be the best that you can be, because the person that doesn't give up and keeps on trying will win in the end!
